 Claire and Chris Jagusz, a couple from Beaconsfield raised more than £2,000 after completing a 285 mile bike ride in this year’s Pedal to Paris, an annual event organized by the Royal British Legion to raise funds that go towards the support of service personnel injured on duty as well as their families.
The couple was modestly impressed with their achievement after four days of cycling for a worthy cause. Chris said it is the Royal British Legion Paris ride that got him into cycling three years ago and recommended it as a worthwhile activity for anyone looking for a challenge in support of a charitable cause.
In this year’s event, 300 cyclists completed 460 kilometers spread across four days; all the way from Greenwich to Paris, marking the 90th anniversary of The Royal British Legion. |
