 According to a report by Zoopla, just announced, properties in South Buckinghamshire occupy the top 6 highest value towns in the country. Properties in Beaconsfield, South Bucks are the 3rd highest value in the UK, just behind Virginia Water and Cobham in Surrey. Properties in Chalfont St Giles took 6th place followed directly by properties in Gerrards Cross. Properties on Valley Way, Gerrards Cross averaged £2.256 million and was the second highest value street of all properties in South Buckinghamshire.
The report also showed properties in South Buckinghamshire were starting to noticeably rise. Business Development Director of Zoopla.co.uk, Nick Leeming, said, "Despite the recent property market uncertainty, Brits remain obsessed with the value of their home as well as those of their neighbours, friends and family. This years Property Rich List shows an ever-widening North-South divide and whilst house prices in some of the most expensive areas of the country have fallen a little over the past 12 months, they have held up far better than in many of the less expensive areas."
