Property in Buckinghamshire provides owners with gorgeous panoramas

Gordon Rogers, a stargazing afficionado, has created a cutting-edge observatory at his property in Buckinghamshire. He started out gazing at the stars but soon discovered the joys of photographing these shining orbs. He developed the multi-tiered outlook with the help of his son Chris. "I noticed something out of the ordinary happening with the moon back in 1994", Gordon explains. "I was so impressed that I needed to know right away what was going on. This resulted in numerous calls to various places, including Hawaii, trying to find an astronomer to talk to."

His fascination with the skies was so great that he purchased his first telescope at a sale. He proceeded to change the garden shed at his property in Buckinghamshire into an observatory. This is the place from where he takes the most stunning photographs of nebulae. These clouds of dust, gas and plasma form into the glittering dots we call stars. Gordons pictures capture the different atoms that are responsible for the colors blue, red and green.

Sir Patrick Moore, well-known astronomer and host of the tv show Sky at Night, was so in awe of the observatory at the property in Buckinghamshire that he decided to dedicate an entire show to it.
