Property to buy in Buckinghamshire rises in price by 8.3% annually

Land Registry figures puts Buckinghamshire joint ninth in the highest rate of property price increase to December 2010, which is greatly higher than the 3.4% national average in England and Wales.

The average cost of property to buy in Buckinghamshire stands now at £260,196 whilst the average property in England and Wales is £165,505.

Neighbouring Slough had a 6.1% increase whilst Windsor and Maidenhead rose by 7% and a 7.9% rise was seen in Oxfordshire. Even the London property rate of increase (7.6%) was less than the increase in the costs of property to buy in Buckinghamshire.
